How to use Copilot to Create a Sales Proposal
IntroductionÂ
Welcome to another Microsoft 365 Insights video. Today, we're focusing on a practical use case of Copilot and demonstrating how we use it internally to create sales proposals.
The Use Case
Our example today illustrates the process of producing a sales proposal for a prospect, based on an email conversation we've had with them.Â
Gathering InformationÂ
Initially, we need to refresh our memory on the details of our agreements and communications. We can manually open and read each email, or we can use Copilot's summary feature in Outlook to achieve a concise overview quickly.
Creating the Sales ProposalÂ
Instead of copying and pasting the email content into Word to start our proposal, we leverage Copilot's capabilities. By opening a blank document in Word and using the chat panel, we instruct Copilot to generate a detailed sales proposal using recent email conversations and relevant internal documents.
Copilot in ActionÂ
We ask Copilot to review our email trail with Modern Nigel and to search for any company documents pertinent to our CRM product, SoCRM. Copilot efficiently retrieves the necessary information, including a licensing document and the relevant email conversations.
Generating the ProposalÂ
Copilot inserts the gathered information into our Word document, providing a structured and detailed sales proposal within 30 seconds. The proposal includes sections such as an executive summary, key information about workplace studios, pricing details, and a conclusion. This comprehensive draft is ready for review and formatting.
ConclusionÂ
We hope you found this demonstration useful. If you're using Copilot, happy Co-piloting and start producing your own sales proposals efficiently!
